Jérôme received his BFA from the Tyler School of Art with an emphasis on printmaking in 2013. He was accepted to the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts for his MFA scholarship. He started to focus on multimedia, abstract painting. At the Academy he became involved in critical aesthetic theory and art history.
During his graduate studies, his work began to draw a strong influence from the curiosity of language and linguistics, emotional expression and symbology of Carl Jung. His work is to attempt to bridge the gap between internal subjective dialogue and the inability of conventional language to express the fullness of the human condition. Jérôme also found one of his greatest sources of inspiration
