In search of a certain truth, Franceleine Debellefontaine tirelessly tries to find the beautiful, to reveal parcels and in this effort of creation, to propose a vision of a more human world.

Franceleine has been sculpting for more than twenty-five years, realizing in a slow apprenticeship the curves and curves that impose themselves on me and invade my imagination.

Originally, the wood seemed to him the most adapted to reveal them, like words to put down ideas.

From now on, Franceleine likes to explore all the materials and make bronze reproductions of my works.

Franceleine works in direct carving, each sculpture is a new learning, an initiation, a step forward that allows her to stay closer to my inner world, closer to instinct and imagination, because as the Goethe said:

"Art is not an imitation but a conquest"

The woman's body is one of her sources of inspiration: Woman with many faces; infanta, mother or lover, woman-daughter or woman of mature ages; all these women unite and mix to make only one. Their body in the flexibility of the forms suggests an infinite generosity, an exquisite tenderness.

His work tends to pay homage to them as well as to sublimate them.

Adventure adventurer, she sculpts in direct size in a spontaneous and instinctive way, it is work and experience that do the rest. Everything rests on the feeling of the body and its extension in soft, undulating and harmonious volumes.

It's all a movement, an internal bubbling that motivates and guides, the rhythm is musical.

From each sculpture emerges a kind of linear music. Unity, cadence, which will give rise to the premonitory form still dormant.

Everything is there, to transmit to the matter the warm breath of life, of sensuality. The sculpture as the practice Franceleine Debellefontaine is the vibration of the cry of life, a sweetness in offering, a renewal of love between shadow and light.

The creation is a mystery where it is carried away without asking useless questions, it is a kind of birth, of offering, it is only the concretization of an impulse of abundance, the material sublimation of 'a dream.
