Freia Achenbach

Freia Achenbach is a product designer based in Stuttgart, Germany. His approach allows movement between disciplines and playfully explores matter, shape and color. In her work, Freia Achenbach experiments with a wide variety of traditional and innovative materials and manufacturing processes. His objects always tell a story and bring with them a certain ambiguity. All objects are handmade and/or created in collaboration with small factories. She produces objects in unique pieces as well as in small series and creates commissioned works for clients. Since 2018, she has been collaborating with June Gschwander and Carlo Kurth as part of the joint design studio anima ona. She has carried out projects with various clients, including Fondation d´entreprise Martell, Kunstverein Böblingen e.V., GRDXKN structure printing, Studio Saje, Moncomble Paris, Center Pompidou.
