Jen Sloan

Jen Sloan (or Jennifer Sloan) was born and works in New York, US. She started photographing in the 70s when she lived in Paris. She experiments with color, black and white and a multitude of different processes. PhotoCollage represents for Joan Sloan the essence of her work and allows her to articulate what she sees according to her imagination. She uses her own photographs which are subtly cut up and recombined. Her photographs speak to us of movement, of atmosphere: a feeling more than a materialization.
