Artist Statement:
I am a full time professional Czech artist born in Prague who paints mostly abstract or semi-abstract geometric artworks that are influenced by beautiful nature, elementary forms (round, square, triangle etc.) and by architecture.
Each painting is truly unique - I always try to achive a fresh, modern look that would lend a sophisticated, modern edge to any interior. My landscapes are both idealized and impossible; they are inspired by real places but are entirely imaginary. Color, patterns and composition are the main preoccupations of my work.
Within each creative process I am generally focused on bold stylized abstract landscapes, mountainscapes and geometrical abstract forms. I continuously developing the relation between colors, pure shapes, patterns, concept and accidence as well as I maintain space and harmony in the detail and the complex together.
Since 2003 I have been enjoying the variety and challenges of art projects in architecture – modern wall design in many interiors, creating paintings and commissioned paintings.
My pieces of art are held in private collections in the USA, Canada, all over Europe and in the UK, Australia, Hong Kong and in Taiwan.
