Anne-Sophie Gruwez is a self-taught artist with a background in business consulting, who set up her studio on the shores of the Mediterranean in 2012.
Through her XXL totems, Anne-Sophie Gruwez aims to bring a positive vision to our lives. The world of jewelry, tribal art, art brut and, more recently, street art are major sources of inspiration.
After studying Finance at Paris-Dauphine University, she began a career as an organizational consultant with a Parisian firm. In 2005, she decided to leave the world of consulting to pursue her artistic passion. A member of the "Ateliers d'Art de France", she is passionate about the spiritual dimension of objects, tribal ornaments, "portes bonheurs" and other "gris-gris" diffusers of good energy... The infinite combination of materials and colors guides her work. Her totems measure up to four meters in height and are made from a multitude of materials: feathers, wood, shells, fabric, leather, hemp, seeds of all kinds, raffia, etc. Her creations also feature the principle of messages engraved on plaques. Today, her totems are collected in France, Europe, the United States and Japan...
