Andrei Sadko is a Russian artist, born in 1945.
Andrei Sadko was born in Paris but always considered himself as a Russian in Paris. Moreover, he got trained with other fellow country men like Zadkine the sculptor or G. Annenkov the painter. The artist develops a unique artistic universe, inspired by ecological thoughts of those days were these terms didn't make the same impact as today.
In Andrei Sadko's works, there is always a character and therefore one can observe his evolution in environments to which he gives a meaning and an important message.
All of Sadko's creations portray a spiritual and poetric universe: he is a space poet.
His works are visual and sculptural. The works hang between balance and imbalance, man and his surroundings.
Sadko has been exhbiting a lot since 1986 in France and abroad. Sadko's bronze sculptures combined with other materials, allows us to confront macrocosm, putting us in the man's shoes.
Sadko's works are part of several private collections: France, England, Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Morocco, Switzerland and the USA as well as in many public collections:Paris, Puteaux, Digne-les-Bains, Bibliothèque Nationale de France.
