Biography
My name is Lionel Le Coq, I was born and live in Brittany. Every day, I draw inspiration from the waves lapping the water's surface, the contours of sand waves on the beach at low tide, pebbles polished by time, and certain evocative forms of aquatic fauna.
Brittany, with its wild and bountiful beauty, is my favorite playground. It's here that I find an infinite wealth of textures, colors, and shapes—a true source of endless inspiration.
I create sculptures, mainly wall panels or totems.
I love creating wooden pebbles, each one unique and characterized by the centuries-old wood.
For several years now, I have also been working with green wood, to create creations based on sanded wood lace, ... quite a project!
As a “wood passer", I am committed to giving a second life to this noble material, to transforming it into sustainable and unique creations that continue to tell their own story, long after their creation.
