Presentation
Self-taught painter, I am a native of the Arcachon Basin. After exploring the world of sociology during my studies, I embraced a rewarding career as a teacher for 27 years. However, the irresistible call of my inner artistic expression ultimately took over.
For 15 years now, I have immersed myself with passion in the captivating world of acrylic painting, exploring various techniques, particularly inspired by Street Art, such as stencils, aerosols and acrylic markers. My artistic process is a constant quest to translate who I am and the lessons that life offers me, always searching for the next canvas that will transform my daily emotions into a work of art.
Seeking to awaken feelings and emotions, I hope that each painting becomes a vector of exchange, carrying a deep meaning. My works, mainly figurative, capture in a visceral way the essence of the human. My paintings, whether made on canvas, canvas cardboard or wood, incorporate various elements such as collages, oil or dry pastels, aerosols and stencils.
The marked presence of writing in my creations reflects the duality that characterizes me. The harmonious alliance of writing and painting represents for me an affirmation of freedom. My style evolves over time, reflecting my artistic growth. I hope that those who decide to dive into my pictorial universe will open their hearts wide to share this adventure with me.
When inspiration strikes, I immerse myself in researching, reading, and studying my subject. I happily accept the surprises and adaptations that may arise during production. Whatever the project, I approach it with absolute enthusiasm and generosity. My art is not simply a visual representation, but an invitation to share a unique sensory and emotional experience.
“I paint our humanity with the emotion of words and the vitality of a self-rebirth." V. Baleste
