Since the dawn of time humans have painted, engraved, assembled, transformed, left signs, clues of their presence, their beliefs, their social organizations until the first writings, until now with our hyper-informed societies and all social networks.

So in my artistic work I try to find this first impulse, this desire to make, to mark, to organize, to put together improbable objects in order to give them an unexpected coherence. To do so, I had to and I still have to learn, first at the Beaux-arts in Rouen, in the engraving studio of Maurice Maillard in Val de Reuil, then at the Plastic Arts of Paris I Sorbonne, in the Chinese painting workshop of Peng Tuan Keh Ming of the city of Paris etc. etc… Every day I try, I rediscover, I struggle in order to find or rather find a new form, a color, a right gesture, to restore life and dignity to objects that no one wants anymore.

I wanted to marry learning and the impulsive, to combine the conscious and the unconscious, to look at the colors as one would taste a succulent pastry and to push them to unusual unions which become absolutely coherent in the permanent search for mastery and let go. Some will say that it is a prison but it is also a daily jubilation made of sweat, joy and happiness, with sometimes more or less long eclipses which are also times of maturation.
