Bérangère Collas

Bérengère Collas is an illustrator and graphic designer. She did the Fine Arts of Epinal, the Decorative Arts of Strasbourg and chose to live in the mountains of Briançonnais.

On a daily basis, she handles tablets and mice, digital tools but often forgets them to "fill her fingers".

She loves handicraft work, finding brushes, pencils, black tip and dry tip, experimenting with new techniques, playing with textures.

Recently, it is the engraving that found it. Work of a plate of raw metal, which is sheared and scratched and dipped in acid. The more or less deep bite creates contrast. Prepared painstakingly, the plate is sculpted as ... Once ready, this die will be impregnated with greasy ink to finally be pressed under the rolls of the machine.

The result is an original print. Each print is unique. Bérengère makes us discover here some of his engravings and immerses us in his poetic and unusual universe.
