Presentation

Franco-Belgian painter born in Isle-Adam in the Val d'Oise, he shares his childhood between Antwerp and Le Mans. It was while working in a printing and advertising factory that he began to familiarize himself with the graphic arts.

Following an atypical career path (breeder, racehorse trainer), he later created a magazine devoted to boats and then founded an industrial equipment company. It is only at the age of 50 that his career as a painter is revealed.

From 2002 to 2010, he presented some thirty exhibitions between Paris, Antwerp and New York. Timmers gave up his brushes during 2014 before recently taking them back.

He left to live in Perpignan and then Fontainebleau for a year and devoted himself to female portraits, which would mark his success. He is noticed in prestigious art shows in Europe and present in many private collections around the world (France, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Russia, Japan and the United States).
