Caroline Sury is the founder with Pakito Bolino of the publishing house Dernier Cri, specializing in subversive and graphic images. A major figure in this movement, always on the border between Street Art and Art Brut, she has around ten comics to her credit (her latest "Un matin avec Mademoiselle Latarte" was part of the official selection of the BD Festival). 'Angoulême 2020) as well as numerous drawings published both in specialized magazines (Lapin, Strapazin, Ferraille...) and in major daily newspapers (Libération, Le Monde...).
His work is by turns realistic, symbolist, expressive, often raw and willingly provocative. His “nervous and crazy" trait is particularly anchored in the throes of everyday life. Born in Laval, she now lives and works in Marseille, after passing through New York and Paris.
She most often works with a pen directly on paper. Another of his creative techniques, paper cutouts, has earned him numerous exhibitions, such as in 2019 for the Rencontres du 9ème art in Aix-en-Provence.
