Nathalie Serero was born in Paris. However, her heart yearns to be lost among the Italian churches built during the Renaissance period. She is inspired by the vivid colors, movements and expresses her own emotions that are then retranscribed onto her paintings. She exalts her joy of living and renders it in her paintings.
Her artistic intention echoes Raoul Dufy's words: "To paint is to reveal an image that does not reflect the natural appearance of things but has the power of the real."
