El Pradino

El Pradino is a young artist of American Norwegian origin born in 1985, who travels the world with his camera to capture images of cities. He deconstructs each image to retain only the elements that are significant for the identity of each place. Then, through a painstaking work, he makes digital images composed of several hundreds of visuals each.

These new type of photo-montages, inhabited by sensitivity and interrogations, are part of an imaginary world where fascination and disgust come together. El Pradino reinvents the city, he asks questions about the future of urban space, saturated by ads and buildings with no soul. A child of pop culture and of the counter-culture to which the artist was confronted ever since he was a child, El Pradino is fascinated by the cities and is searching for the roots of our urban culture.

Today, his art is associated with the street art phenomenon and he generates enthusiasm among specialist publications and collectors. In 2012, El Pradino became one of Artprice's thirty artists under the age of 30 with the best ratings in photography.
