Sarah Fenehari

Of Moroccan origin, Sarah was born on 9 July 1995 in Villeneuve Saint-Georges. She lives and works in the Paris area. Graduated from a Master of Arts, Letters and Languages at the Sorbonne Panthéon and a MEEF Master of Fine Arts at the ESPE in Paris, she isnow a teacher at the Academy of Créteil.

A great art lover, she knew at a very young age that artistic creativity would rhyme her life. Drawing and dance were his first passions. From disadvantaged neighbourhoods in suburbs of Paris, Sarah has given herself the means to succeed. Artistic culture is not within her grasp, she knew, through her curiosity, to make her accessible. Supported by her relatives, she studies in the artistic field. During his academic studies at the University of Sorbonne, she evolves She works with great artists such as Vincent Dulom and Ing Séra.

The evolution of her practice throughout her journey, leads her to a single problem: How to allow painting to assert itself as a work of art? Stripping paint of any superficial form such as figurative, allows it to no longer be perceived as a mere medium. The absence of traces of the artist's gestuality on his work allows the work to have a certain presence.

As soon as she entered the faculty, she contacted the Mayor in person so to get a workshop in her city. At the age of 24, Sarah has already exhibited three times in her common.
In 2016 and 2018, she made the page of two newspapers about her artistic work.

In 2016, her paintings are selected to hung in the exhibition space of the Sorbonne.

In 2017 she is part of a selection of artists for a collective exhibition at the ESPE Paris.

In 2018, the inauguration of one of these works was recognized as a work of the city.

It is currently on display at the City Hall in Valenton.

In 2018, she was contacted by the gallery «Libre est l'art» for an exhibition. The opening has held in November 2019.

In 2019, she is contacted by the Henri Mondor hospital in Créteil to exhibit her paintings in the gallery space. The exhibition will take place in October 2020.
