Michel Saint-Lambert draws inspiration from his innumerable travels. Islands, faraway lands, he's delighted while discovering them and this adds exoticism, poetry and harmony to his work. His painting is depicted with lines and stealth figures, and these forms are just suggested. Familiar or unknown faces are represented on his canvas, they emanate mystery, power and simplicity.
Throughout his travels, the artist has managed to forge a unique universe, made up of exotic smells and flavors, warm sunny nights and reassuring noises. Painting allows him to lay down his memories on canvas, so that he can share them and make them eternal.
