COURSE

I was born in Vietnam and have lived in the Grenoble region for about 40 years.

My pronounced taste for drawing led me to the profession of Architect which I exercised for a few years. Subsequently, needing to be in permanent contact with a more intuitive creativity, I chose to teach in kindergarten, while practicing drawing, watercolor and pastel.

I have devoted myself entirely to painting for about fifteen years.

ARTISTIC APPROACH

Express myself on my work as I paint.

Take an interest in lyrical expression and informal painting, which frees the gesture and opens me up to an infinite space.

Take, nourish me, recharge my batteries then let it infuse, settle, until this overflow of images and emotions is transformed, gushes out of me and comes to life on the canvas.

During the act of creating, to be fully present to my feelings and to constantly dialogue with my canvas. Spread, add, remove, scrape, splash ... until a balance in shape and color is achieved. Amuse myself precisely like a balancing act, go further or not, transgress, dare, disobey, surpass myself, free myself?

Everything is played in the moment, with movement, energy. Like a cook who works on high heat.

Let the painting express itself, trust it, follow it, not constrain it.
