Presentation
Gianni Immordino alias ARPE, a young 23-year-old artist lives and works in Aix-en-Provence.
Coming from the world of graffiti since he was 15 years old when he began to express himself freely and "wildly" in the street, on walls, highways, metro stations, alongside other graffiti artists from the region such as DOMER FIER of the RDP Crew, TOPER, TRAMP 6BOR of the AMC Crew which earned him some arrests and costly fines.
For 3 years, his style has evolved and developed with work at home in his studio for creations on canvas, perfecting himself in stencil.
We feel in his works the influence of American graffiti.
He knows how to have fun and imprint the codes of pop art with accuracy and freshness.
ARPE likes to work on his works with a superposition of colors and materials in the background. He masters different techniques, whether it is the stencil he likes, spray painting or using inks/poscas to finalize his works.
His often colorful works are full of life and offer us graphic compositions where characters, stylistic portraits appear.
He takes a look full of sensitivity on our society in order to create works that carry messages, his messages as a young artist for a fairer world.
