Rosanna Casagrande

Rosanna Casagrande was born in 1955 in Conegliano, initially she deepened her passion for watercolor obtaining excellent results. Despite her numerous satisfactions, however, she feels the need to demonstrate artistic expression with different tools. This is how you approach informal art. 

You admire the audacity of the great master Emilio Vedova and the exuberant creativity of Afro Basaldella. Then she meets contemporary artists such as Chiarato and Cheula and she approaches their language without however abandoning the ties with the figurative sphere. Courageous and amused, she continues her journey so much that she immediately obtains acclaim from the public and critics, counting successes in competitions and exhibitions in Italy and abroad. 

Casagrande considers herself a figurative painter who paints in abstraction, what is striking in the construction of the picture is the beauty of the scenic layout which generates new spaces and lets the great figurative culture be felt in filigree. Light is the protagonist, from it reverberates the softness of the Venetian atmospheres, the remarkably structured verticality and spatiality.
