Ignacio Barrios

Ignacio Barrios is a Spanish visual artist who works with photography. In 2019, Ignacio completed a master's degree in photography at the Royal College of Art in London.
Barrios works primarily with photography while blurring the boundaries with painting and sculpture. He is interested in creating a dialogue between public and private spaces using the street and the studio as different backgrounds to capture his installations composed of domestic objects that are part of our daily lives. Ignacio exhibited his work at MadridFoto in 2011 with the Moriarty gallery, at the Getty Images gallery in London (Renaissance Photography Award 2015 and 2017) and with Estudio Figueroa-Vives in Havana since 2012. In July 2020, Ignacio was an artist in residency at the BilbaoArte Foundation.
