SOPHIA-CRISTINA LAURIC – SHORT BIOGRAPHY

Sophia Cristina Lauric was born in Radauti, in the middle of Bukovina, Romania in 1982. She started exhibiting in 2002 and has participated in more than 70 art shows. She has received several awards in national and international competitions.  

From 2016 she is living in UK.

The flow of creation is what defines Sophia Cristina Lauric. The artist has an innate gift to enlighten through creativity, imagination and artistic behavior. Fervently present on the national and international cymas, she makes us transcend the universe with the purity and sincerity of the artistic act. Her joy to live is the joy of painting, along with the awareness that the gift she received must inevitably be conveyed to the public. The ease, with which she transposes the imaginary on the painting cloth, the feelings and emotions in almost all the styles and techniques, the artistic power to synthesize the essential, makes each of her works to be a psycho-sensory visual code. Beyond the created image, beyond the aesthetic and compositional qualities, every touch of Sophia Cristina Lauric is a unique vibration and a therapeutic energy endowment. Hence, we can define her art works as access codes to our inner universe or to other parallel universes, producing that interior catharsis that leads to healing and enlightenment.
