Claudia Radvanyi

Claudia is an Australian born artist living in Washington DC, United States. Her artwork is best known for its whimsical scenes and ability to transport the viewer to evoke feelings of romance and nostalgia. 

Claudia's ability to translate stories, feelings, and ideas into art was influenced by her higher studies in Graphic Design and her extensive travels across the globe. In 2019, Claudia moved to the United States where she has flourished as an artist,  devoting her time to painting. 

Claudia is inspired by fashion but also loves to explore themes inspired by dreams, interior design, nature, and architecture. She experiments with shapes and perspectives, often emphasizing interesting parts of the subject to create a playful look. The mediums she uses include acrylic gouache, gouache, and watercolor. 

This year Claudia was announced the winner of the first "Bal Harbour Shops Creative Challenge" for her fashion illustration, commended by award-winning artist Ruben Toledo. This encouraged her to continue the creation of dreamy rose-tinted scenes that take the viewer to a happier time and place.
