Biografia
Sven Pfommer è sempre al confine tra fotografia , pittura e incisione . Sven dà più o meno la meglio all'una o all'altra arte. Le sue opere sono spesso fotografie scattate durante i suoi viaggi, che combina con frammenti grafici e zone dipinte nel suo studio. Sven è nato a Berlino , ha studiato Comunicazione visiva all'Università di Hildesheim e gli è stata assegnata una borsa di studio del British Council per studiare al Royal College of Art di Londra. Pur avendo lavorato per diversi anni come direttore artistico e fotografo, negli ultimi 15 anni si è concentrato anche sul mercato dell'arte internazionale. Dieci anni fa ha fondato la sua galleria di fotografia contemporanea nella capitale dell'arte, Berlino. Negli ultimi 7 anni ha insegnato anche fotografia, arte e design presso diverse università.
Le sue opere sono state esposte in 4 continenti e pubblicate negli Stati Uniti, in Canada, nei Paesi Bassi e in Germania. Nel 1996 gli è stato conferito il premio Walter Thiemann. Ha realizzato commissioni per l'industria automobilistica, l'industria della moda , diversi progetti alberghieri e cliniche.
