Biographie
Olivier Massebeuf est un artiste peintre français né à Lyon en 1963. Il s’installe à Paris en 1982 lorsqu’il est reçu aux Beaux-Arts de la capitale. Il ne se sent pas à l’aise avec cette institution et l’enseignement qui y est dispensé : il finit par quitter les Beaux-Arts un an plus tard pour débuter un cursus d’Anglais, sans pour autant abandonner la peinture.
L’artiste pratique une peinture figurative, et s’intéresse particulièrement au geste et au mouvement, insufflant une véritable impression de vie aux sujets qu’il représente.
