My paintings are most often inspired by something real. The mountain is a real source of inspiration as well as my garden and the countryside near my home.
Biography
Coming from a lineage of artists, Alain Churlaud excels in a variety of media, including oil and acrylic. Inspired by nature, this expressive artist uses distinctive techniques such as the use of spatula, brush, roller, sand and sawdust to create a unique natural texture. His abstract works, which for him often have a meaning, transmit a renewed look at reality and invite contemplation and appreciation of the present moment.
