Kunst ist eine Botschaft, die die Wahrheit offenbart. Kunst soll verstören.
Künstler (Malerei, Skulptur). Geboren 1953.
„Ich bin Maler, Textildesigner und Bildhauer, der seit 2001 berufstätig ist. Ich wurde an der Schule der Schönen Künste in Aix-en-Provence ausgebildet und war Schüler von Vincent Bouilles. Bekannt wurde ich in meiner Werkstatt/Galerie in Paris Bastille seit 7 Jahren. Ich habe den Schal „Nymphéas“ für das Museum Marmottan Monet entworfen. Ich lebe seit 2005 im Baskenland, wo ich Aufträge für Privatpersonen und Profis an der baskischen Küste ausführe.
Nah an der Natur male ich eine Projektion meiner traumhaften und poetischen Fantasie. Meine Inspiration kommt aus meinem Reisetagebuch: Los Angeles, NY, Rio de Janeiro, Madras, Tanger, Manila, Lissabon, Istanbul. Ich setze die Bilder, die mich bewohnen, in die Malerei um. Diejenigen, die mit mir sprechen, haben ihr Geheimnis in Erinnerung an die Orte, die Momente, die Menschen bewahrt, die mein Leben geprägt haben.
Beeinflusst von Street Art, Pop Art der 60er Jahre und deutschem Expressionismus: Frantz Marc, Kirchner, Munch... Meine Praxis ist vielseitig, ich experimentiere mit Schablonen, verschiedenen Materialien, Gemälden, Skulpturen, Keramik. Meine Skulpturen aus Terrakotta und Keramik ergänzen meine Gemälde
Imaginäre oder visionäre Figuration steht den Einzelkünsten näher, bei „Außenseitern“ eher der medialen Kunst. Die Investition des Künstlers in sein Werk, das nach Intellektualität, Essenz und innerer Arbeit geordnet ist, konzentriert sich auf das Projektive, Traumhafte, Poesie und Lyrik. Der Kommunikationsaspekt über das Signifikat ist Teil einer symbolischen Erzählung, sei sie allegorisch, metaphorisch oder analytisch.
