Minimalist Photography for Sale

Minimalist art results from the movement of abstraction. Born in the 1960s, minimalist art is first and foremost a pictorial movement but quickly extends to other artistic media, and to photography in particular. If painting and sculpture focus on the materiality of the object itself, minimalist photography opts for a different approach, focusing instead on detail, and only detail as in Jean-Yves Goujard's or Joseph Sobel's works of art. However, others such as Richard Caldicott or NumericEric give a pictorial aspect to their photographs by focusing on colour only.

In short, let us repeat Franck Stella: "All that is to be seen is what you see".
