Gianni Colangelo

Gianni Colangelo was born in a small village in Abruzzo where he decided to come back to live. He has traveled a lot, he loves books (even wrote a few), he has always listened with interest to people and is enriched by differences. He started taking photos at the age of 7. In his photos, he puts his thoughts, his fears, his books, his passions, the music he loves. He hopes that those who observe his photographic doodles will perceive it all in it and that if their mind is, by any chance, touched, it will represent his success. The series "Odissey" is a work on time, in the form of still lifes, Gianni Colangelo stages objects that evoke gestation (glasses, containers ...), birth (egg ...) and time that happening (clock, pendulums, alarm clock ...). The choice of still life is made to amplify the ephemeral side of our life compared to a more sustainable environment. The fuzzy nature of the background inspires a questioning of the infinity that surrounds us and the limits of our place in the universe.
