Biographie
Vincent Sabatier est un artiste français né en 1971, vivant et travaillant dans la région lyonnaise. Diplômé des Beaux-Arts, il commence sa carrière par le stylisme et la communication pour se tourner en 2009 vers le professorat et se consacrer à son œuvre.
Il développe une œuvre hybride mêlant sérigraphie et résine selon un procédé original de superpositions, qu'il fera d'ailleurs breveter.
Sa maitrise de la résine liquide et de la sérigraphie, jouant sur de surprenantes insertions font de chaque œuvre un univers coloré et plein d'imprévus.
Qualifiant volontiers son approche de Néo Pop Art, il en émerge des œuvres aux frontières de la sculpture et du pictural, pleines d'effets de matière et de lumière, jouant sur les contrastes entre transparences et opacité.
Les thèmes choisis et travaillés sont ancrés dans nos références culturelles contemporaines.
Vincent Sabatier décline ainsi des figures emblématiques de sa génération, lui permettant de développer une œuvre polysémique au grès de ses inspirations.
