Mando

Armande FORST, alias Mando was born in Alsace in 1979.

As a child, she was already exploring her creativity: she was a field florist, an architect using Lego and a painter using her mother's eyeshadow...

Self-taught, Mando has also always loved making collages.

It is therefore quite natural that she associates collage, acrylic paint and POSCA marker to play on textures, transparency… but also on words!

In the 'Human Heat' series, the letters and words that appear in the watermark of his works resonate with faces and gazes...

Femininity and the preservation of nature are Mando's favorite themes.
