Florian Sergent dit Genski

It was during an artist residency in China that Genski learned to handle metal. Today he creates his structures from gleaned materials, mainly metal and wood. This is followed by manual or mechanical sculpting, assembly and finishing work. Initially figurative, his work now moves towards abstraction. His pieces are in his image, generous, bubbling and intensely alive.
