Philippe Henriot

All of Philippe Henriot's work is imbued with the African continent where he has lived and traveled many times for professional reasons.

Inspired by scenes of everyday life, his paintings invite us through stylized characters to discover the habits and customs of this continent, the landscapes planted with baobabs, become the burial place of griots, these African storytellers, who appear as a signature on the canvases.

Philippe Henriot works with different textures, collages with gold or silver leaf, color pigments, bringing a special atmosphere to the work.

He imagines a story, an art of living, a journey in which we let ourselves be invited.
