His passion for the line is expressed by a simplicity of means, a speed of execution. The immediacy of its outline contributes to an atypical gesture which freezes the attitudes without the eye fixing. In movement, measuring the space, its charcoal outline - compressed and not very friable - brings a pictorial physicality. The lines intertwine and create multiple layers in depth. They are superimposed under the illusion of a floating superimposition; a perfect balance between emergence and erasure.
