He was born in 1957, Krakow.
Polish painter, graphic artist and draftsman, graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, 1981.
Winner of numerous awards (including the Grand Prix of the Graphic Biennale in Vaasa, 1987, Grand Prix of the Graphic Biennale in Seoul, 1988, ZPAP Prize of W. Wojtkiewicz, Cracow 2001). His works are in numerous museum collections (including the National Museum in Krakow, the L. Wyczółkowski District Museum in Bydgoszcz, the Jagiellonian Library in Krakow, PAU Graphic Collections, Krakow, the Metropolitan Museum in New York, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, Graphische Sammlung Albertina in Vienna, Cabinet des Estampes, Bibliotheque Nationale de France in Paris, Utsunomiya Museum of Art in Utsunomiya, Japan, Kumamoto Prefectoral Museum of Art in Kumamoto, Japan and Musee Savoisien, Chambery, France).
Specializes in figurative art. In his works he uses mainly metaphor and grotesque, which he combines with elements of modern expressionism.
