Presentation
Bernard Ambielle, a former student of Decorative Arts in his hometown of Strasbourg, initially practiced wood engraving (1970), then moving towards oil painting.
His artistic career led him to work for several years almost exclusively with Japan (1986-93) while not neglecting European galleries.
After having favored figurative themes for a long time, he returned to his first love, namely a figurative abstraction where the stylized urban landscape allows varied compositions centered on the work of color and material effects.
