Presentación
Corné Akkers nació en 1969 en la ciudad de Nijmegen, en los Países Bajos. Creció en un ambiente bohemio, a mediados de los setenta. Esta atmósfera propicia para la creación le inspira y le da ganas de pintar. De esta forma se forma en pintura y dibujo. En sus cuadros, el artista explora el desnudo y el retrato con una multiplicidad de interpretaciones y tratamientos, sin perder nunca de vista la atención primordial que presta a la luz. Combina el estilo figurativo y la búsqueda de la abstracción, juega con los colores y crea ilusiones ópticas de volúmenes. Singular, sus obras evocan a veces al cubismo, a veces al surrealismo o al fauvismo. Hipnóticos, atrapan la mirada. Además de su profesión de pintor, Corné Akkers también enseña arte en Voorburg, Holanda. Sus pinturas han sido objeto de numerosas exposiciones y se venden a coleccionistas de arte de todo el mundo.
