Born in Bekalta in 1979, Chahrazed Fekih is a visual artist, Tunisian and teacher at the Higher Institute of Fine Arts in Tunis since 2006.
His works have been the subject of several national and international exhibitions.
In the context of a global pandemic, CF's timid and discreet “visual thoughts" will prove to be of profound relevance. They will be fully manifested during his two individual exhibitions held in 2021 and 2022.
Highly sensitive to ecological issues, Chahrazed exposes us, through the thin film of ink of his drawings, to the forms of creatures of a reinvented nature. Defying all kinds of phobias, and through clever hand movements worthy of a conjurer, she succeeds in coaxing sometimes the most feared creatures, revealing them with an unsuspected beauty. But also of a fragility which is due, one might say, only to its frail drawing line.
