Christopher Rainham siempre se ha inspirado en el mundo natural y, más específicamente, en una experiencia del mundo natural.
Está inspirado en la forma en que la flora y la fauna se entrelazan en el lenguaje, las explicaciones de las cosas, las historias y las creencias.
Los animales, las flores y los pájaros tienen su propio simbolismo. Son los personajes de los mitos, algunos de los actores de los escritos religiosos, metáforas de cosas que no podemos explicar. Los pájaros de sus cuadros son el motivo de su dibujo, los objetos de su composición y un elemento de su modelo.
Christopher está interesado en cómo la sociedad interactúa con las cosas salvajes y no tan salvajes que la rodean, el efecto que tenemos sobre el medio ambiente y los seres vivos que dependen de él para sobrevivir.
