L'artiste Benjamin Pietri, né en 1978, créé ses coffrets à partir de pièces d'entomologie et de figurines vintage de la saga Star Wars. Les personnages édités par la marque Kenner de 1977 à 1985 sont associés par analogie à des coléoptères ou papillons.
Dans ce néo-cabinet de curiosités, chaque personnage trouve son avatar bestial, sa monture ailée, ses armoiries ou son partenaire de combat pour une odyssée intergalactique.
