Composiciones fotográficas llenas de color
Capturar lo que vemos. Es una tarea difícil, sobre todo cuando la naturaleza o el paisaje urbano ofrecen al fotógrafo un espectro tan amplio de colores con los que jugar. La primera fotografía en color fue tomada en 1861 por Thomas Sutton utilizando el método de los tres colores propuesto por James Clerk Maxwell en 1855. La cinta de tartán, el tema del fotógrafo, fue fotografiada y pretendía utilizar el rojo, el azul y el verde -tal y como el ojo percibe los colores a través de la refracción- para hacer visibles los colores dentro de los grises de la fotografía monocroma. Aunque el proceso se desarrolló posteriormente, el color y la forma de captarlo (y amplificarlo) siguen inspirando al artista en la actualidad. Las composiciones fotográficas en color son una de las herramientas más importantes que puede utilizar un fotógrafo para crear un estado de ánimo o una sensación en su trabajo. Al entender los colores y su efecto, el artista puede relacionarse con el espectador: ¿Puedes ver lo que yo veo? Tanto si se trata de los tonos de una bonita cinta como de un impresionante paisaje, la forma en que se combinan los colores, se contrastan, se añaden o incluso se omiten evoca una respuesta del espectador. Esto puede verse en las fantásticas y soñadoras obras de Dasha Pears y en las coloridas composiciones fotográficas de Li Hui en Artsper.
