Poesía de la forma natural

Las formas naturales del cuerpo humano han sido durante mucho tiempo una fuente de inspiración para artistas plásticos y diseñadores. Desde las esculturas figurativas de la antigua Grecia hasta el mundo de la fotografía, artistas de diversos estilos y movimientos encuentran la belleza en sus formas, proporciones y movimientos. El cuerpo también se representa con frecuencia a través del arte para expresar una amplia gama de emociones humanas, así como temas de cultura, identidad y sexualidad.

Nuestra selección de artistas que utilizan el cuerpo humano como medio de expresión poética incluye a Ricky Cohete, Isabelle Lebret y Michal Zahornacky. Las obras fotográficas de Ricky Cohete capturan a sus sujetos en una serie de poses dinámicas, a menudo desnudos o parcialmente desnudos, y algunas de sus obras hacen referencia a las esculturas clásicas de la Antigüedad a través de prendas de vestir drapeadas. Los cuadros monocromos de Isabelle Lebret son visualmente potentes en su uso del color, representando figuras misteriosas y angustiadas que ocultan sus rostros. El fotógrafo Michal Zahornacky juega con el color y la distorsión para superar los límites de la expresión poética en sus obras.
