Biographie
Il y a plus de vingt ans maintenant, un ami artiste lors d'une promenade a coupé dans une haie une branche de forsythia attaquée par des galles en me disant qu'elle pourrait être un bon sujet à peindre.
J'ai donc ressorti mes pinceaux et mes peintures d'écolier et reproduit assez maladroitement le rameau. Mais le virus s'est installé me poussant à peindre et à progresser. Ma formation scientifique et le dessin d'observation m'aidant un peu pour le trait, le temps et la pratique pour la couleur.
Depuis dix ans, j'ai accepté l'idée de montrer mon travail qui tourne surtout autour de la botanique, de la zoologie avec souvent une double lecture suggérée voire suggestive.
Je dispose d'un musée de curiosités personnel qui me sert de banques de données pour la réalisation de mes images.
J'utilise essentiellement l'aquarelle comme médium mais aussi le détournement de gravures, d'objets et la photographie.
