Li Chao, born in Yantai, Shandong Province, graduated from Shandong University of the Arts with a bachelor's degree in Chinese painting in 2016, focusing on fine brushwork and rock color painting. Under the tutelage of Wang Xiaohui, Liang Wenbo, Yang Bin, Yu Lei and other famous painters. In 2018, he studied and graduated from the Chinese Painting Advanced Research Class at the China Academy of Art.
Member of Shandong Young Artists Association, Member of Yantai Artists Association, Member of Laizhou Artists Association. The fields of painting are vast, the methods are ancient, gifted in drawing and follow nature. Particularly good at meticulous line drawing. The pen and ink are rigorous and the style of painting is fresh and refined.
In 2016, won the third prize of "Sixth Mali Art Creation Award of Shandong University of Arts".
In 2019, he participated in Laizhou "70th Anniversary of China's Founding Celebration Exhibition" and won the Excellence Award.
In 2019, the work "Fruit" was selected for the 6th "China Maritime Silk Road Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition".
