Fabienne Tuffigo

Born in 1963, I live and work in Le Havre.

After studying to become an engraver and graduating from the Ecole des Beaux Arts de Versailles, I used this technique for a long time and produced many aquatints with a preference for marine themes because Brittany is the place where I was born.

Then I worked with acrylic for many years because I appreciated its short drying time corresponding to spontaneous painting.

For some time now, gouache has been my favorite. I like the freshness of its rendering, its powdery side which makes it a very pleasant paint to work with.

All subjects interest me, and you will see here among others Etretat, Giverny, the Japanese Garden of Le Havre of course Brittany.
