Biography
The passion for stone was passed on to me by my parents, geology enthusiasts, we would visit stone quarries. In view of the very particular landscapes of Burgundy, my desire to transform stone was born.
Fate took me to the United States where I trained in sculpture at the sculptor Elizabeth Ney's museum in Austin Texas.
Subsequently, I sculpted at the Archaic workshop in Austin Texas where we, among other things, created a series of sculptures for the Austin Texas Cultural Center.
I returned to France in 2002 to train as a "stonemason and ornamentation".
In Brittany, I participated in the restoration of the prestigious Breton calvaries of Plougastel and Guimillau.
My path crossed that of the Compagnons du Devoir, who allowed me to work on Historical Monuments. Through the workshop of a companion, I had the opportunity to participate in the various sites of cathedrals and castles: the Cathedral of Orleans, Limoges, the Grand Palais in Paris, the Abbey of Cluny , the castle of the Dukes of Brittany in Nantes etc ...
Since 2012, I have been affiliated with the Maison des Artistes and I continue my work as a sculptor, defining my personal workshop, with the aim of presenting my pieces in different exhibitions, participating in symposia, working in collaboration with other sculptors, proposing my creations for individuals.
