Rusudan Zviadadze is a Georgian artist born in 1969 who lives and works in Tbilisi, Georgia. She is a painter with a unique artistic mentality and style who was introduced to art at an early age by her father. She felt in love with this colourful world and used to paint all her childhood. After finishing school, she decided to become engineer. She successfully achieved Georgian Technical University but never gave up painting. After she successfully graduated Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts and she radically changed her manner to paint. She took part in many exhibitions in Georgia, but also in France and Germany. She is member of Georgian Artist Union. Rusudan found inspiration in everyday life. It was usually details, mostly taken for granted, that became her muses as the weather, a good morning, the sound of music from her son's bedroom, traveling, new sensations, etc. "That's the hardest part, when you're thinking about something and are completely absorbed by it, so much that the problems of the outside world become secondary. When you find the form, the details come easy, choosing colours, selecting lines...", the artist reveals. Having never lost connection with art and culture she became an author of many conceptual works. "Art's mission is to reflect the universe in an interesting and outstanding way. In this matter, the artist needs to be free, and this freedom shall never be restrained” Rusudan quotes. This freedom comes with responsibilities. The painter believes that becoming an artist cannot be fulfilled by merely developing your painting technique. "Being educated about the world, other fields and disciplines is crucial for discovering yourself in art and deciding what it is that you want to tell the world through it," Rusudan states.
