Xaudaró was born in Vigan (Philippines) in 1872 although his family moved to Barcelona and he was educated in Paris and London. Later on he would work as an illustratior for publications of the Spanish press such as ABC, Madrid Cómico, Gedeón and Blanco y Negro, for which he designed caricatures, magazine covers and comic strips, sometimes under the pseudonynous O'Raduax.
