Mara J

Mara J, a pseudonym inspired by the character of the legend of Mesterul Manole, was born in Iași, Romania, in 1993. After graduating in Art Graphics at the University of Art and Design of Cluj-Napoca, she continued her studies in Painting 'Academy of Fine Arts of Venice. Her artistic research focuses on the study of the human figure and the relationship it establishes with space, exploring the dialogue between body and environment. Since 2024, Mara J has exhibited her works exclusively online, convinced that digital platforms, in a globalized society, offer greater visibility and sharing possibilities than traditional channels. Her works are part of private collections in Italy, France, the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and the United States.
