"What fascinates me is working with materials.
I use ink and acrylic, and I'm sensitive to the balance between the two. I aspire to capture emotions and let the viewer take hold of them, as in a mirror effect. To achieve this, I am constantly on the lookout for the accident, the breaking point, where everything can fall apart. I'd like to reveal the invisible."

The life of artist Simon Buret in France, Greece and North Africa has had a profound influence on his work. Inspired by the Fauvist movement, Buret's evolving art explores a variety of themes, ranging from vivid bursts of color conveying palpable emotions to expressions of uncommon innocence. Both singer and actor, Simon Buret experiments with a variety of disciplines to convey his own emotions and perspectives, focusing on abstract works of art inspired by nature.
